MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Despite a few morose feelings with the 21 day lock down period dragging on, many locals took to social media since last night sharing photographs of the moon.
The moon last night, referred to as the April pink supermoon, was the biggest and brightest full moon of 2020.
Although much closer to earth than usual, the moon was not actually pink. A supermoon happens when the moon reaches the closest point to Earth in its 27-day orbit and it happens to be full, which occurs approximately once a year.
