MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Firefighting crews have been working at the PetroSA landfill site since yesterday, 15 November where a fire has started. 

Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services dispatched two tankers to assist PetroSA firefighting crews. 

The latest update this morning at 06:00 is that firefighting operations will continue. 

Meanwhile Dana Bay residents have complained about a burning smell in the area. 

The Mossel Bay Municipality told the Mossel Bay Advertiser that there is no toxic fume hazard.
