MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On 21 March, Human Rights Day, Station Commander of the KwaNonqaba Police, Lt Colonel Julius lead his members in partnership with the Community Police Forum from door to door in the greater KwaNonqaba in an effort to promote human rights.
The focus of this door to door campaign was to raise awareness of gender based violence, domestic violence, basic human rights as well as extortion.
According to the spokesperson of the KwaNonqaba police, Wo Kappie Kapp says that it has come to their attention, that especially owners of spaza shops are becoming victims of extortion.
