MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality Youth Office invites young people from all walks of life to a Youth Safe Space event at 18:30 on 18 August at the Indoor Sport Centre in Sampson Street, Extension 23.
The programme is intended to promote awareness of social ills such as crime, gangsterism, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, child trafficking and unhealthy lifestyles, while providing a safe space for the youth.
The youth can look forward to empowering motivational speakers and talks, information on tertiary institutions, available bursaries, vacancies, and several live performances by local artists, as well as recreational activities, such as chess and darts at this Safe Space event.
Anyone wanting to join forces with the Mossel Bay Municipality in this programme is invited to a roleplayers' meeting on 10 August at 11:00 at the Youth Office.
