MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Sao Bras High School hosted an HIV/AIDS Celebration of Life on Friday, 29 November, to commemorate Wolrd Aids Day on 1 December.
The event, during which several guest speakers shared their insights, was coordinated by care and support assistant at the Western Cape Education Department, Nadia Fredericks.
The principal of the school, David Groenewald, supported the initiative fully.
Guest speakers included Almerity Chetty from the Piet Julies Aids Action Group, social worker Irene Archer and HIV/AIDS counsellor, Nkuleko Mguzulwa.
Grade 12 learners at the school also participated in the programme.
Peer educators at the school played their part in the event.
