MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Vinolia Snoek, Mossel Bay's Miss Junior SA pageant finalist, is highly active, doing charity work as part of her bid to win the pageant title.
Vinolia is one of four finalists in her category nationwide.
This pageant is not part of the Miss South Africa pageant.
She is proving herself as a woman of compassion, initiating projects to help those in need.
Vinolia is donating spekbooms to crèches and schools which need greenery. One of these is Vusisizwe Educare Centre, which is in JCC Camp.
With help from volunteers, Vinolia will be preparing the ground and planting the trees. A kind donor has provided the spekbooms.
At the end of May, a high tea for fundraising to help Vinolia with charity work, will be held.
As from Youth Day, 16 June, Vinolia will be donating toys and clothes to children.
Also, a sports day for children has been arranged for 16 June as part of her charity portfolio.
On Mandela Day, 18 July, Vinolia plans to donate cushions for dogs and cats to the SPCA. "They are being knitted now," Vinolia says. She is also working on an anti-drug initiative.
