MOSSEL BAY NEWS - September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
The Mossel Bay Junior Town Council urges the community of Mossel Bay to take action and join its efforts to spread awareness of this and to try to prevent suicide.
Ways you can help:
- Any member of the community can take an anti-suicide video. This should be motivational and inspirational and can be as long as you wish. This video can be sent to 078 2202 584 and it will be posted on the junior town council Instagram page.
- The junior councillors ask that you put the photo of a yellow ribbon on your WhatsApp profile picture and share it with all your friends so they can do the same. "We would like to uphold this project until 30 September, but we need all of your help," it says on the Istagram page.
- "We would also like you to share all of this with all of your friends so we can stand together as a community against bullying, depression and all the causes of suicide."
