MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Adopt A Spay is an ongoing programme at the Garden Route SPCA that is making a difference to dogs, cats and people.

It assists underprivileged animal owners to do the responsible thing and sterilise, spay or neuter their pets.

This programme allows the public to help the SPCA continue their good work. Sterilisation of pets ensures a pet population that is controllable in number and able to be kept as free of diseases and parasites as possible. Many of these diseases and conditions can make humans sick too.

A once-off or monthly donation that you can afford, however small, will help ensure that fewer unwanted puppies and kittens end up abandoned and starving on the streets. If you can afford to sponsor one pet's sterilisation it would cost only R300. Every cent of your donation is guaranteed to be used for sterilisations, nothing else.

To become an Adopt A Spay sponsor, make a once-off or monthly EFT (electronic funds transfer) through your bank in favour of:

Clearly write your surname and "AASPAY" on the beneficiary statement description so the SPCA knows who has so kindly contributed funds.
