MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Wildlife Environment Society of Southern Africa (WESSA) is holding a beach clean-up at De Bakke and Santos beaches tomorrow, Saturday, 16 September from 10:00 to 11:30.
The clean-up is being co-ordinated by the team of Blue Flag beach stewards who are working at various beaches along the Mossel Bay coastline.
The Blue Flag beach stewards invite volunteers of all ages to join in the clean-up fun, intended to leave the beaches in pristine condition.
The meeting point will be the main parking lot at De Bakke Beach at 10:00. The clean-up will begin at De Bakke Beach and move to Santos Beach.
Anyone interested in joining in may contact the main co-ordinator, Innovatia Oliphant (076 814 7148), who will direct proceedings on the day.
