MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Lara Meyer, a Grade 9 learner at Hartenbos Academy, has won the Heart art competition.
Meyer says her art piece is digital art with a message.
"I wanted to convey the message of love flourishing and being shared. War, abuse and racism hurt my heart, just thinking about them. My hope for the world is instead of fighting, to overcome our differences and make the world a better place."

Lara and her brother Stef Meyer, a Grade 5 learner at Hartenbos Academy, also did well at the Mossel Bay Eisteddfod.
Lara achieved a prestige certificate (A++) for fiddle solo, open category, and Stef participated in the guitar contemporary solo category and also achieved a prestige certificate (A++).
