MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Local armed response companies are still on duty during the lockdown in the Mossel Bay area.
Recently, a man tried to mug a woman who was walking in Ryk Tulbagh Street.
A response officer of ADT security firm, Zithobile Klaas, says he received a panic alarm signal and was despatched to the area.
On his arrival, he was told that a woman had just been robbed of her handbag outside the property. A description of the suspect helped officer Klaas to quickly track him down and hand him over into the custody of the Mossel Bay Police.
ADT Garden Route branch manager, Pieter Meiring says the firm is proud of Klaas and adds: “If we stand together and look out for one another, we can remain safe, even during lockdown."
