MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Covid-19 Donations, Supplies & Information, a group of NPO’s joining hands to support the needy, during Covid-19 lockdown, are now also focusing of education regarding social distancing.
“As our group is named Donations, Supplies & Information, we are trying our best to communicate the importance of social distancing,” says a spokesperson for the group.
In anticipation of donations, the group have secured two warehouses and transport companies to help distribute food parcels faster.

The Covid-19 food parcel they distribute contains the following:
- 1 x 375ml Oil
- 1 x Tin Tomato & Onion mix
- 1 x Tin Baked Beans
- 1 x Tin Mixed Veg
- 1 x Tin Pilchards / 1 x Tin Corned beef
- 1 x Small bag Potatoes – 6 medium potatoes
- 1 x Small bag carrots – 6 medium carrots
- 1 x Small bag onions
- 1 x 1lt Concentrated Cooldrink mix
- 2 x Boxes Soya Mince 200g
- 2 x Boxes cup of Soup
- 1 x 250g Cremora
- 6 x Eggs
- 1 x 500g Pasta
- 1 x 500g Rice
- 1 x Pack 26 Tea bags
- 1 x 500g Mielie Meel
- 1 x 500g Sugar

These signs are being printed to support awareness regarding social distancing to curb the spread of Covid-19 during food distribution in the community.
