MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Bayside Mini Market is one of the entrepreneurs' hubs started in Mossel Bay by the municipality.
Two of the more well-known hubs are the Goods Shed in Bland Street and the one at Mikeva supermarket.
"We want to put Bayside Mini Market on the map," says one of the entrepreneurs there, Stephanus Cloete. "Few people know we exist."
There is a warm camaraderie among the shopowners at the mini market which is in Market Street, near the Craft Art Market, below the Checkers parking lot.
The variety of goods for sale at the mini market are extremely reasonably priced. You can buy biltong, droëwors and steak; homemade cakes and biscuits; pies; sweets and crisps; and second-hand clothing. There are also paintings and ornaments for sale and a shop selling health and beauty products.
There is even a tattoo studio.
On Friday, 1 June, the entrepreneurs have a fun day planned. There will be a jumping castle for children, specials and extra products on sale.
Take a ticket in the lucky draw and stand a chance of winning a prize.
Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and the views of the sea and harbour.
