MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mayoral Golf Day that acts as a fundraiser for the needy in the greater Mossel Bay area, takes place on Friday, 23 September on the Mossel Bay golf club course.
Examples of how the funds are used are helping budding sport stars to obtain sports gear or pay for transport to attend trials, helping non-government organisations who run feeding programmes at schools or implement initiatives that uplift the community and assisting people left destitute after their home has burnt down.
The funds raised to to the Mayoral Fund which covers these worthy causes and also assists with emergency help.
Your participation in the golf day makes all this assistance possible.
This year, the Mayoral Golf Day is featured as a highlight of the Mossel Bay Sports and Recreation Festival. The festival takes place from 16 September to 16 October.
