Motorists are advised to avoid Robinson Pass, between Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Mossel Bay is currently reeling from a flash flood. Numerous photographs and videos of flooded areas are being shared on WhatsApp and on Facebook.

Residents are advised to remain indoors if it is possible. 

In Voorbaai, 25mm was recorded in a half an hour earlier this morning.

For motorists' information, the most evident flooding has been reported along Louis Fourie Road in Voorbaai, near the Hartenbos golf driving range and there are currently waterfalls along the Robinson Pass between Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn. Motorists should avoid the pass.
