MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Minister David Maynier, the Western Cape Minister for Finance and Economic Opportunities, visited Mossel Bay businesses on Friday, 25 October.
Maynier went to Swift Engineering and Mosstrich.
"I really enjoyed my visit to Mossel Bay and George, meeting business owners and industry representatives, hearing about their challenges and also the amazing opportunities to grow the economy and create jobs in the Western Cape.
"What I learnt is that despite facing significant challenges, businesses in the Western Cape are adapting, innovating and looking for new markets.
"As government, we will do what we can to support them by removing red tape and creating an enabling environment for these businesses to grow and continue contributing to the Western Cape economy."
