MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The families of the three men and eight-year-old child who burnt to death in a horrific car crash on the N2 last week will only be able to make funeral arrangements once the bodies have been positively identified.
The four lived in the KwaNonqaba area and were travelling on the N2 near Dana Bay close to midnight on Monday, 9 March, when their Volkswagen Polo collided with a delivery truck.
The driver of the truck was travelling from Cape Town in the direction of George when the accident took place happened. The Polo caught alight and the victims burnt to death.
This week, the DNA taken during the postmortems was sent to Cape Town for analysis.
Police could not release the identities of the victims. They must wait for the DNA test results.
