MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Elderly Forum visits, halted temporarily during election time, are continuing.
People 60 years and older are invited to the following meetings hosted by the Mossel Bay Municipality:
- 15 May, Reebok Community Hall, 16:30, residents of Ward 4;
- 16 May, Toekoms Church Hall, 16:30, residents of Toekoms, Ward 5, and on 18 May, the residents of Jonkersberg are invited to attend the meeting at the Jonkersberg ECD Centre at 16:00,
- 17 May, Roman Catholic Church in Extension 23, at 16:30, residents of Ward 13,
- 18 May, Friemersheim Hall at 10:00, and the Great Brak Community Hall at 13:00 for residents of Ward 14,
- 20 May, Dana Bay Community Hall, 16:30, residents of Ward 11,
- 21 May, Hartenbos Library Hall, 16:30, residents of Ward 10.
"The purpose of the meetings is to form a sub-committee in each of the areas. The voice of the elderly and their knowledge and experience are invaluable, a municipal spokesperson," said.
