GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Tristan Nortje (Cycling) and Colleen Picketh (Lawnbowls) were respectively crowned as Eden Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year in Oudtshoorn last evening.
Desmond Speelman, chairman of Eden Sport Council, Western Cape chief director for Sport and Recreation, Dr Lyndonn Bouah and Oudtshoorn deputy mayor, Mlandeli Nyuka were amongst the dignitaries that attended the awards with former olympian Bianca Buitenbach delivering the key address.

Nyuka also handed over R10 000 sponsorship to Eden Sport on behalf of Oudtshoorn municipality.
