MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Popular Cape Town band The Rockettz New Generation will be playing at the Bravo Lounge, Garden Route Casino, outside Mossel Bay on 16 September.
The Rockets were formed in the late 60s. The band's frontman, Jerry Watt, passed away in February this year and before he died, he expressed the wish that The Rockets should cease to exist.
In its heyday The Rockets were extremely popular, touring abroad and also winning awards in South Africa.
But now a new band, The Rockettz, has been formed, playing the same type of music as The Rockets.
The show starts at 20:00. Tickets are limited. There will be lucky draws and the prize of meat platter for groups of 10 or more.
