MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Henry Cock, running 133 consecutive half marathons (21.1km) from Kosi Bay, around the coastline to Alexander Bay on the Namibian border, is heading for Mossel Bay and is due to arrive here on Sunday, 26 September.

On his website, Cock said the purpose of the running was to raise awareness regarding mental health and the fact that support is available; to make us talk about it.

Cock wants to raise R4 million or more for The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), at the forefront of patient advocacy, education and fighting the stigmatisation of mental illness in our country.

He will run a total distance of 2 800km, including a combination of trail and road running through some of South Africa's most beautiful landscapes. Cock is currently in the Garden Route area and will be in Mossel Bay from 26 to 27 September.
