Last week, through the Oliver Twist programme, young players in Young Stars soccer club in KwaNonqaba were the fortunate beneficiaries of quality sports shoes and other gear that will enable them to continue their winning streak.
"We are extremely thankful to RS Africa Diving; we thank every single diver and other staff for their generous contribution to our team.
"Be sure we will put to good use the very kind donation of shoes and gear," Edgar Ntebe, the club manager and coach said.
Ntebe is also the chair of the KwaNonqaba Community Police Forum.
He says his aim is to involve more and more young people in sport in order to keep them from getting involved in crime.
Mossel Bay's executive mayor, Alderman Harry Levendal, thanked RS Africa Diving for its kind donation of quality clothing.
"Mossel Bay suffered 11 instances in the past month where residents lost everything they owned, including all of their clothing, in the fires that destroyed their homes.
"The generosity of the divers and other personnel of RS Africa Diving will enable us to reach out to those families.
"With the festive season upon us, the donation is extremely handy, and I thank the directors and staff for extending a hand to the really worthy beneficiaries."
RS Africa Diving aims to be the best service provider in major diving projects based on the best equipment and the best team.
It fosters local diving skills with dedicated training and "in-work" knowledge transfer.
