MOSSELBAAI NUUS EN VIDEO - Die afgelope naweek het hengelaars in groot getalle op die viswaters in Mosselbaai toegesak. Een man moes selfs deur diep waters om by sy geliefde visvangplek te kom.
Die minister van omgewing, bosbou en visserye, Barbara Dallas Creecy, het laat Vrydagaand in die Staatskoerant, volume 660 nommer 43 410 bekend gemaak dat hengel vir rekreasie, toegelaat word.
Die publikasie spesifiseer egter dat hengelaars in besit moet wees van 'n geldige permit, asook al die voorgeskrewe Covid-19-regulasies moet nakom. Dit sluit in om nie in groepe te hengel nie, sosiale distansiëring te handhaaf en die gereelde ontsmetting van hande.
