MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Da Gamaskop Police have reason to be proud of their performance.

The station achieved the top spot in the Western Cape out of 151 police stations according to the SAPS provincial performance report for February and March 2020, as well as for the fourth quarter of last year.

During 2019/2020, the station performed as follows: quarter 1 - 12th position; quarter 2 - 17th position; quarter 3 - 18th position; and quarter 4 =1st position.

The station's annual performance ranks 13th overall in the province. The station commander, Colonel Mark Hartzenberg, commended his staff on great team performance and a job well done.

"Let us continue to work hard and smart to maintain this standard. We must give praise and thanks to our heavenly Father, who has carried us through difficult times and continues to keep us, our families and community safe in this pandemic season."
