MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Curro Mossel Bay is the only school in the broader Mossel Bay area that writes the highly-accredited examination as set by the Independent Examination Board (IEB). Passing this examination awards candidates a National Senior Certificate (NSC or matric).
The IEB examination is generally regarded by all in the field of education as being exceptionally challenging. Curro Mossel Bay has done it again, with all 23 candidates passing this rigorous examination.
The top performer, Megan Robertson, achieved three distinctions. Other candidates raked in 14 more distinctions in various subjects.
Subjects in which distinctions were obtained include English and Mathematical Literacy.
The results produced by 15 learners from Curro Mossel Bay will allow them to apply for university entrance, while the remaining candidates will be able to further their studies at diploma level.
The overall pass rate of the IEB examination in all schools what wrote the examination, is a staggering 98,7% .
