MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A cultural event is taking place this Saturday, 10 February, at 12 Queen Street in KwaNonqaba, Mossel Bay.
The programme begins at 12:00.
It will be a celebration of the AmaNgwevu clan.
There will be dancing, traditional food and traditionally brewed beer.
History
Elders and historians will speak about the history of the AmaNgwevu.
The clan hails from the Nciza area, near Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.
The event is the Southern Cape forerunner of a major celebration of the clan, which will take place during Heritage Month in September.
