MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A cultural event took place recently at 12 Queen Street in KwaNonqaba, Mossel Bay.
It was a celebration of the AmaNgwevu clan.
Elders and historians spoke about the history of the AmaNgwevu.
The clan hails from the Nciza area, near Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.
The event on Saturday, 10 February, was the Southern Cape forerunner of a major celebration of the clan, which will take place during Heritage Month in September.
