MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A retired nurse from Mossel Bay, who started working for Ampath Laboratories, doing Covid-19 tests when the virus first hit the country two years ago, at a car wash in Little Brak River this week, helped to wash the very same caravan in which she had worked.
Sister Carrie Elliot spoke to the Mossel Bay Advertiser in September 2020 while she was working at the testing drive-through station at De Bakke during the national lockdown.
Elliot says she is still with Ampath, doing Covid-19 tests in the mornings.
"In the afternoons I help my good friend at his car wash in Little Brak River and while helping him, a request came in to wash a caravan, inside and out. Guess what, it was the caravan that we worked from at the start of Covid."
What a coincidence. The same caravan in which Sister Carrie Elliott did Covid testing two years ago, came across her path again last weekend, when she helped to wash it.
