MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality confirmed the passing of Councillor Jovan Bruinders (ANC) in hospital in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 14 November.

Councillor Bruinders served his community with dedication and devotion. 

He had a significant influence on his caucus and eloquently presented arguments in the Council with thorough preparation and insight. Councillor Bruinders is described as a true gentleman who treated his colleagues, opposition Councillors, and the municipal employees with the utmost respect.

"The passing of Councillor Bruinders leaves a marked void in the Council. As an informed, well-reasoned and reasonable person, he took his role as a Councillor very seriously,” commented Municipal Manager, Adv Thys Gilliomee.
