Members of the public have circulated photographs of the substance on WhatsApp and on Facebook sites.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On Thursday, 13 April, the Mossel Bay Advertiser received queries from the public regarding a white, cotton-like substance which had landed on the ground and on vegetation in town.

There has been speculation as to its origin.

The Advertiser has made some enquiries regarding the substance, but until now, no one has been able to shed light on its origin. 

Members of the public have circulated photographs of the substance on WhatsApp and on Facebook sites.
