MOSSEL BAY NEWS - WOWSAR, in collaboration with the motorcycle clubs Ulysses, Old Farts, Undisputed and Renegades are having an SWD Council-approved motorcycle awareness and community outreach mass ride in Mossel Bay on Saturday 15 February.
Riders in Mossel Bay will meet at Langeberg Mall at 11:00. Riders from George will meet at the old Game store at the bottom of York Street, opposite PW Botha School at 10:00 and "kick stands up" at 10:20 to head out to Langeberg Mall in Mossel Bay.
The end destination will be at about 12:00 "At the 19th" in Hartenbos, where they will be giving the Eekhoringtjies farm school representatives from the Langkloof some goodies for the children.
A special contribution to the children came from Manie and Della Swart from A Swart Beverages T/A Blue Mountain in George as well as Kevin and Jackie Naude from Safican Treats in Mossel Bay.
"We invite the public to join us at our end destination to have a meet and greet with all the bikers and get to know us a bit better and have a better understanding of who we are and the things we do for the community."
Should the public feel like bringing something for the little kiddies in the school, they are more than welcome. There are 10 girls and 11 boys from two to six years old. The school does not have funding; every little thing helps.
