MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Western Cape Department of Health in a statement today said that they are, amid the Third Wave of Covid-19 infections, scaling down contact with patients at their facilities.
Hence, the following measure have been taken:
- Elective surgery has been postponed until further notice
- Emergency and cancer surgery will continue.
- Eye services will be limited to urgent cases.
- Primary health care will focus on child health, preventative and chronic services.
Hospital outpatients’ services will be limited to urgent reviews.
