MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The change of vendor service provider for electricity has the added benefit that Mossel Bay residents can now buy prepaid electricity through the major South African banks.
The change was effective as of 1 July.
Unfortunately, purchasing prepaid electricity will no longer be possible through Ontec Energy, but residents can still buy from Prepaid24.
“The Mossel Bay Municipality regrets any inconvenience caused by the change of vendor service provider of electricity from Ontec Energy to Utilities World as from 1 July," Mossel Bay municipal spokesperson Colin Puren says.
Puren added that the majority of the current vendor points are still active, with the addition of online purchasing through the major South African banks. All customers previously making use of Ontec Energy for online purchasing of electricity, are encouraged to make use of Prepaid24 or the banks as an alternative.
