MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Grateful children and parents attended the distribution event at Diaz Primary on 14 January, where about 450 children in need received school uniforms.
The Piet Julies Aids Action Group thanked the Garden Route Trust for the funding it receives yearly to give orphans and vulnerable children school uniforms.
For the past six years the group has received this funding.
Parents at Diaz Primary also thanked the Piet Julies organisation for the support over the years. The Piet Julies organisation distributed the uniforms to children in the greater Mossel Bay area, Sonskyn Vallei, Brandwag and Ruiterbos.
The organisation also thanks the management of Diaz Primary School for making the school hall available for the distribution of the school uniforms.
