MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The A shift of the KwaNonqaba Police was lauded for the arrest of four suspects, aged between 20 and 30 years old, who were caught red handed with stolen copper cables in their possession.
The suspects were apprehended at 04:30 on 21 April in Dyosi Street, following cable theft in Thembani Street.
Members of A shift, Constables Kumkani, Filani and Boesak were on patrol when they saw the suspects gathered around a fire. Upon closer investigation, the suspects fled into a nearby informal dwelling, where the members found them with approximately 10 metres of copper cable.
The men appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court on 23 April.
