MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Gemini Model and Talent Agency held an interesting, varied breast cancer awareness event at ACVV Kenani Service Centre for the elderly in Mossel Bay on Friday, 15 October.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Television personality and Ms CurvyBody SA (Congeniality) title holder Sandra da Mata was the MC for the occasion.
Local natural food and lifestyle consultant June McGahey spoke about eating correctly in order to avoid getting cancer.

Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) social worker Lee-Anne Roeloffze and breast cancer survivor Lydia Visser also addressed the attendees.

The elderly residents also enjoyed a fashion show. Shaneshree Jacobs, Johané Dercksen, Rochelle van Straaten, Sanchia Peterson, Unam Mzola and Louisse Norman all modelled Mr Price clothing.
The Gemini event is held annually and free of charge at Kenani for the residents.
Gemini owner Frieda van der Walt organised the stage programme single handedly this year.
