MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A boy aged 17 died of injuries incurred in the unrest in the greater KwaNonqaba area last week.
The KwaNonqaba police confirmed that Samele Fasi died of injuries suffered on Wednesday night, when marauding crowds roamed Asla Park and surrounding areas, tearing down and burning the premises of suspected drug dealers.
The badly injured Samele was found at a premises in Mzolo Street and was transported to the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital by his brother. Samele was immediately transferred to George Provincial Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
At the time of going to press details of funeral arrangements were not yet available.
