MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The St Peter's blanket project is in need of wool to continue its mission to keep Mossel Bay residents warm and comfortable with its blankets.
A spokesperson for the project said: "This project has been in existence for more than 30 years and it is hoped it will continue for many more years."
"We have managed to distribute over 3 000 blankets so far from the start of the project and plan to continue for another 30 years and more."
The blankets are made from squares that are knitted or crocheted by generous ladies and also the squares for the baskets are knitted in doctors' consulting rooms in Mossel Bay. There are baskets of wool and needles so patients can knit while they are waiting.
All donations can be handed in at Tasha's Habby Shop opposite the Mosselbaai Mall in Heiderand.
"Any wool will be accepted as we can use four-ply to chunky wool. Thank you for your support to help keep everyone warm," the spokesperson said.
