MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Heart Foundation of SA PR and Communications manager Nuraan Cader confirms that they have no fund raising efforts in Dana Bay at the moment.
She warns unsuspecting residents not to open their doors and not to part with any money when approached, supposedly on behalf of the Heart Foundation.
This follows early morning reports of people in a white vehicle who called on Dana Bay residents and asked for funding on the premise that the Heart Foundation is planning to open offices in Mossel Bay.
Cader said this is a hoax and warns residents to be very careful. "Similar scams were uncovered in Gansbaai, Parow and Goodwood recently," she added.
