GREAT BRAK RIVIER NEWS - Great Brak River police confiscated hundreds of litres of alcohol when they cornered an alleged illegal liquor dealer.
The 61-year-old resident of Friemersheim was arrested over the weekend of 9 April.
Police communication officer, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says police confiscated 24 five-litre containers of Rusthof wines, 26 crates of Hansa beers and another 312 beers.
The suspect was later released on a summons to pay an admission of guilt fine or to appear in the Great Brak Magistrate's Court.
Eden acting cluster commander, Brigadier Belinda Pather, praised the police for their dedication to safeguarding communities within their area.
