MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Staff at the Mossel Bay Advertiser are celebrating after scooping a second place at the annual Caxton Excellence Awards, in the 'Best Sold Newspaper under 8000' category.
Our sister newspaper, Oudtshoorn Courant’s editor, Hannes Visser, was named Investigative Journalist of the Year, for a series of articles he wrote on licensing fraud in Oudtshoorn. He was also a finalist in the Best Regular Column category.
The awards ceremony took place in Kyalami, Johannesburg last night, during which hundreds of representatives of Caxton community newspapers nationwide gathered to see who’s the best of the best.
