6-year-old killed on Louis Fourie Road

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 6-year-old child died on Louis Fourie Road in Mossel Bay this morning when the victim was hit by a vehicle. 

The incident happened at around 11:10. 

According to the KwaNonqaba police spokesperson, Sgt. Kappie Kapp, the white Nissan bakkie, with a Cape Town registration number was driving on Louis Fourie Road when children tried to cross the road. 

He says the driver of the vehicle alleges that he couldn't stop.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
