MOSSEL BAY NEWS - There was joy and laughter at Point High School today as the matrics collected their final exam results.

Point achieved a pass rate of 98.5 percent. Twenty-six matrics achieved A-aggregates. All together the matrics attained 260 subject distinctions.

Lucia Pauw is the dux matric with eight distinctions and an aggregate of 95 percent.

The matric exemption average is 90.45%. Matric exemption allows matrics to embark on tertiary education.
