Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The motorist who clocked 214km/h on the N2 highway near Little Brak River has been arrested.
Great Brak River police spokesperson, Sgt Laurianne Botha, confirmed the arrest.
The 54-year-old man was driving in a Porsche light motor vehicle on the N2 on Sunday, 21 June. He was travelling in the direction of Mossel Bay when Provincial Traffic officers, who were sitting at a speed trap near the road, stopped him.
The man was arrested on charges of reckless and negligent driving. The suspect received a court date and will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court.
