MOSSELBAY NEWS - On Tuesday, 13 November church leaders from KwaNonqaba met D'Almeida community leaders at the St Blaize Catholic Church to discuss a programme of action for the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Child Abuse.
The group decided to host a procession on 25 November after an Ecumenical church service at Imekayha Primary School. Proceedings will start at 14:00. All churches are invited to attend the service and to participate in the procession.
"We shall hand over a memorandum at the KwaNonqaba Police Station stating the community's concern about gender violence. The community, specifically NGOs, state departments, community policing forums and community-based organisations are invited to attend."
