KWANONQABA NEWS - The half-naked body of a 24-year-old woman was found in New Rest in Mossel Bay on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies says residents made the gruesome discovery in a bushy area in KwaNonqaba at around 06:50.
Spies says police were called to the scene and shortly thereafter paramedics declared the victim dead.
He says the motive for the killing is not yet known.
“Crime scene experts combed the scene for clues and all leads are being followed.”
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
KwaNonqaba police have opened a murder docket.
