Renosterbos Estate welcomed its first permanent residents in September, almost a year after Willie and Sharon Coetzer purchased an empty stand in what was - at that stage - a development still in its infancy.
They saw the potential then - and immediately felt at home.
We've asked them some questions to hear how they've experienced the whole process, from buying an empty stand with a pre-designed plan, right through the entire building process and eventually living in the estate.

Willie and Sharon, you moved from Ballito to Mossel Bay. Are you glad you made the move and how would you describe life in the Garden Route?
We are extremely content with our decision to relocate to the Garden Route. We consider it a huge improvement and upgrade in all spheres of life and daily living.
Any building project comes with challenges. Was the building process a difficult one?
Overall, it went smoothly. Wherever there were changes or alterations needed, they were done with no hesitation. We had the full co-operation of everyone concerned.
You are the first permanent residents at Renosterbos Estate. What is your experience of living there?
We are loving the tranquil lifestyle and love waking up to the sight of bushbuck and guinea fowl. We are close to all amenities, such as shopping centres, hospitals, churches and restaurants, which makes living here a total joy.
Would you recommend Cape Estates as a developer to your friends and family?
Not only have we done so already, and we will also continue recommending it. It has been an absolute pleasure negotiating and dealing with such likeable and professional people, who meet their commitments timeously.
