GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality has appointed SMEC (Consulting Engineers) and Entsha Henra (Contractors) for the rehabilitation of Long Street and Stasie Road, as well as the upgrading of a portion of Sandhoogte Road in Great Brak River.
The construction period is approximately 11 months. Construction commenced in February 2020 and will be completed by mid-December 2020.
The scope of works includes the rehabilitation of the bridge crossing the Great Brak river and will start during the first week of March 2020.
The rehabilitation of the bridge will be done by means of half-width construction, with traffic accommodated by means of a 24 hour “stop/go” control.
The public, businesses and residents are requested to please be patient during the construction period.

KENNISGEWING: REHABILITASIE VAN STRATE IN GROOT-BRAKRIVIER
Die Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit het SMEC (Raadgewende Ingenieurs) en Entsha Henra (Kontrakteurs) aangestel vir die rehabilitasie van Langstraat en Stasieweg, asook die opgradering van ‘n gedeelte van Sandhoote-pad in Groot-Brakivier. Die konstruksie sal ongeveer 11 maande duur. Konstruksie het in Februarie 2020 begin en duur tot ongeveer middel Desember 2020.
Die rehabilitasiewerk aan die brug oor die Groot Brak Rivier sal in die eerste week van Maart 2020 begin.
Die rehabilitasie van die brug sal in half-wydtes gedoen word, en verkeer sal van deur middel van 24uur ry/stop oor die brug beheer word.
Die publiek, besighede en inwoners word versoek om asseblief geduldig te wees tydens die konstruksietydperk.
