BUSINESS NEWS - Prequalification applications are hereby invited for Local Enterprises located within ward 1 to 15 of the Mossel Bay Municipality, as sub-contractors for CONTRACT NO. C0964.02: UPGRADE OF TR33/1 AT BEACH BOULEVARD WEST (KM 10.27) TO GARRET STREET (KM 13.05).

The proposed Work Packages are as follows:

Gabion Outlet Structures
Hand Excavations to Install Electrical Cables
Sidewalks – Sonskyn Vallei

An active CIDB contractor grading designation of 1 CE to 2 CE is a requirement for the sub- contract work.

Compulsory Briefing Meeting / Session:

A compulsory information briefing meeting will be held at the Mossel Bay Town Hall Offices at 101 Marsh Street, Mossel Bay Central, Mossel Bay, 6500 on 15 January 2024 at 15:00 pm.

Attendance at the compulsory briefing meeting will be limited to a maximum of two authorized representatives per entity.

Briefing meeting attendance pre-registration process:

Prospective tenderers must undergo an online pre-registration process to be eligible for the mandatory briefing meeting. During this process, they are required to submit their valid CIDB grading certificate in the appropriate category of work or classification.

For Joint Ventures planning to submit a tender, a duly signed and certified Joint Venture Agreement must be provided along with the CIDB grading cer- tificates corresponding to the appropriate category of work or classification for the enterprises involved in the Joint Venture.

Submission of pre-registration documentation is required through e-mail to xolani@henra.co.za and must be completed no later than 12:00 noon on

11 January 2024.

Pre-Qualification Documentation:

Only pre-registered subcontractors will be allowed to attend the compulsory briefing meeting.

Pre-qualification application documents will only be made available at the information briefing meeting. Attendance at the meeting is mandatory, and repre- sentation must be by the applicant or an authorized representative directly employed by the applicant.

The completed Pre-qualification and support- ing documents shall be sealed in an envelope or package clearly marked "Pre-qualification – CON- TRACT NO. C0964.02: UPGRADE OF TR33/1 AT BEACH BOULEVARD WEST (KM 10.27) TO

GARRET STREET (KM 13.05)” and shall be delivered by hand into the tender box in the site offices of Entsha Henra at;

Entsha Henra (PTY) Ltd Site Office, Voorbaai Business Park, Watson Avenue, Mossel Bay by no later than 12:00 noon on 25 January 2024.

Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile, e-mailed or electronic applications will not be accepted.

Preamble

This Pre-qualification Application document forms part of the procurement process of sub-contractors for CONTRACT C0964.02: UPGRADE OF TR33/1 AT BEACH BOULEVARD WEST (KM 10.27) TO GARRET STREET (KM 13.05)

Successful sub-contractors will enter into an Agreement/Contract with the Main Contractor, ENTSHA HENRA (PTY) LTD, who will be subletting part of the Main Contract to Qualifying Emerging Contractors.
