MOSSEL BAY BUSINESS NEWS - After 14 years, Anna-Marie de Bruin will say goodbye to Abana as owner and principal.
From 1 February, Marietjie Nienaber, well-known to Abana children and parents since 2015, will be the principal and Therina Bredenhann will be the manager. Peet Roodt from Bloemfontein is the new owner.
The same love and quality care for the children, that has been part of Abana for so many years, will be continued by Marietjie and Therina. The Abana legacy and high standard will be carried forward by the younger and more energetic management. They want to make a difference in the lives of the children.
Abana provides day care for children from six months old to Grade R as well as after-school care. Two balanced meals are provided daily and additional classes such as Tower Maths, music, dance, computer and visual training are included in the fees. Art classes are in the process of being organised.
A little bit of revamping will take place with new apparatus being installed as well as a new lick of paint, but the staff, who are much loved, will stay the same.
